The barnyard was never really planned.

It started with one or two animals—good intentions, a bit of space, and the idea that it might be nice to have something alive out there besides the wind. Then, like most things worth doing, it grew.

Some of them arrived with purpose. Others just sort of… showed up.

Each one came with a personality, a set of habits, and a way of quietly rearranging the place. There are no background characters here. Even the ones who seem calm from a distance have their own opinions about how things should be done.

This collection is less about the ranch itself and more about the individuals who made it what it was—horses, goats, donkeys, and the occasional character who didn’t quite follow the script.
